Meet 8 year old Shivan who was born on 20th June 2016, a bright and hopeful child. Sadly, her family has faced many challenges. Her father underwent surgery that, due to complications, left him unable to work. Now, her mother carries the weight of providing for Shivan on her own. Without the Bwindi Foundation, Shivan would likely go hungry, and she would certainly have no access to healthcare or education.
